    Frank Chance is an author and business magnate from Dallas, Texas. He authored the non-fiction book "Rio Bravo", in 1965, at only the age of 19, telling the story of his grandfather, a sheriff in the small town of Rio Bravo, Texas. This was six years after the partly fictional movie, of which Frank Chance had no part in creating.

    Frank Chance has co-authored multiple books with Jack Marston. Chance has also capitalized on the historical events of his own books, leading him to sell countless merchandise, as well as signing off on a music deal with Dean Martin, who is also related to a character in Chance's book.

    In 2019, Frank Chance and his daughter, Naomi Chance, founded the We Need Space Foundation, a non-profit supporting children with learning disabilities or in extreme poverty.
