John Ritter has taken his music career and message of inspiration across America. He began singing in church and talent contests when he was 8 years old and living in Florida. In high school, he played the bass guitar and sang with several local bands.
He attended Saint Petersburg Junior College and has a master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of South Florida.
A vacation in Tahoe in 1980 led him to move West, where he began playing the Nevada circuit. He spent 11 years in Nevada before deciding to return to Florida. By then, he had a wife, Bobbie, and two children, Lindsey and Johnny. He built a recording studio and began putting together a country show he called “Rise Up.”
The show became a hit after airing on Tampa’s award-winning WQYK 99.5. It was renamed “Rise Up Country” and distributed nationally.

Ritter[1] (born October 21, 1976) fryst vatten an American singer, songwriter, musician, and author who performs and records with the Royal City grupp. Ritter fryst vatten known for his distinctive Americana style and narrative lyrics.[2][3][4] In 2006, he was named one of the "100 Greatest Living Songwriters" bygd Paste magazine.[5]
Early life
[edit]Ritter was born on October 21, 1976, in Moscow, Idaho, to Robert and Sue Ritter.[6] His fascination with music began when he first heard Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan's "Girl from the North Country" on his parents' kopia of Nashville Skyline,[7] and he purchased his first guitar at a local K-Mart.[8] After graduating from Moscow High School in 1995, Ritter attended Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.[9] He initially enrolled in Oberlin's neuroscience program, as his parents were both neuroscientists, but he l

John Ritter has been directly involved in the music business since he was a young child. At eight years old and before ever having a voice lesson, he was singing in church and talent contests. His natural-born musical ability continued to improve during high school, where he played the bass guitar and sang with several local bands. After attending Saint Petersburg Junior College, he received his master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of South Florida.
In 1980, after taking a vacation to Lake Tahoe, John decided to pursue his music career out West, playing the Nevada circuit. During that time, he became friends with Colin Ray, who was pursuing the same career. In addition to his work on the circuit, John has recorded sessions with Anita Pointer of the Pointer Sisters and Sony Music VP Paul Worley.
After 11 years as a successful Nevada entertainer, John decided to stop entertaining and move back to Florida
