Alright folks, Im excited about this episode. Im also kind of relieved to be recording it because I got hit with a cold that everyones been seemingly getting. I thought I was doing really well this winter, especially compared to last, because I was just getting hit with all sorts of illnesses and injuries last autumn and winter. And this autumn and winter, Ive been feeling like my immunity is so much better. As everyone got taken out over December and January with gastro bugs and coughs and colds and flus and things, I was kind of feeling like, oh yeah, Ive managed to avoid it. Raoul Wallenberg was born in in Stockholm. The Wallenberg family was one of Sweden’s most famous and influential industrialist and banking families. Raoul’s great-grandfather André Oscar Wallenberg, who was a business man, navy officer, publicist and member of parliament, had in founded Stockholms Enskilda Bank, which was Sweden’s first privately owned bank and laid the foundation for the mighty Wallenberg empire. Raoul was raised to become an ‘independent and responsible world citizen’. But it was not as a businessman or a banker that Raoul would attain world fame.

Dear father of Kim Anger and husband Bill Kinzel of Moorefield, Julie Anger of Waterloo, Bill Anger and wife Sharla of Springfield, Brad Anger of Aylmer and April Brown of Waterloo. Loving grandfather of Eden, Rachel, Shanice, Bradley, Riley, Cody, Ty, Evan and Cameron.
