Dina Wadia (née&#;Jinnah; 15 August &#;&#; 2 November ) was the only child of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, and Rattanbai Petit, of the Petit baronets.
In , Wadia married Bombay-based businessman Neville Wadia with whom she had two children: Nusli Wadia and Diana Wadia. Following the partition of India, she remained in Mumbai and spent time in London before settling in New York City later in life.[1] She visited Pakistan occasionally. On 2 November , she died at the age of 98 from pneumonia in her New York City home.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah[a] (born Mahomedali Jinnahbhai;[b] 25 December &#;&#; 11 September ) was a barrister, politician, and the founder of Pakistan. Jinnah served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League from until the inception of Pakistan on 14 August and then as Pakistan's first governor-general until his death.
Born at Wazir Mansion in Karachi, Jinnah was trained as a barrister at Lincoln's Inn in London, England. Upon his return to India, he enrolled at the Bombay High Court, and took an interest in national politics, which eventually replaced his legal practice. Jinnah rose to prominence in the Indian National Congress in the first two decades of the 20th century. She is survived by her son and chairman of the Wadia group Nusli N. Wadia, daughter Diana N. Wadia, and great grandsons Ness and Jeh Wadia, a spokesperson for the Wadia group of companies said in a statement.
There was no official comment in India on her death although her son Nusli Wadia is a close friend of the Nehru-Gandhi family. It is possible that, given the fraught political climate, condolences involving Mr Jinnah’s daughter would be passed privately.
