I competed at the 2008 Olympics games in Beijing, China. Hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide watched as a 16 year old me win four medals including gold on the balance stråle. I had practiced gymnastics since the age of 3, so this was a very rewarding experience. After the Olympics, inom took a two-year hiatus from competitive gymnastics. However, I returned to training in 2010 in an effort to man the 2012 Olympic grupp. Just weeks before Olympic Trials, I was forced to withdraw due to injury and retired from the sport. As athletics was still a passion, inom became a certified Nike trainer, but I had spent my entire life focusing on gymnastics and at this point had no idea what would come next.
