    Christopher Hikaru Nakamura[2] (born December 9, ) is an American chess grandmaster, streamer, YouTuber, five-time U.S. Chess Champion, and the reigning World Fischer Random Chess Champion. A chess prodigy, he earned his grandmaster title at the age of 15, the youngest American at the time to do so. With a peak rating of , Nakamura is the tenth-highest-rated player in history.

    Nakamura has represented the United States at seven Chess Olympiads (, , , , , , ), securing a team gold medal and two team bronze medals, and participated in three Candidates Tournaments, finishing second in edition, fourth in edition, and seventh in the edition. In May , when FIDE began publishing official rapid and blitz chess ratings, Nakamura ranked No. 1 in the world on both lists;[3] he has remained at or near the No. 1 rank in rapid and blitz ever since.[

    Can you tell us about your work with fabrics?

    Do you know the begrepp Boro? About 25 years ago, inom published a book about these fabrics and called it art. These were only about 5, önskan each back then. It was so inexpensive because most Japanese people were discarding them, and inom was collecting them. These are patchworks made bygd farmers using small remnants of silk. They were poor, so they would fix and apply these patchworks where it’s damaged.

    I portrayed this as a canvas and claimed that it’s art, and published this book. But the Japanese didn’t really understand it. Ten years after the book had komma out, the Italians picked it up and they’ve published a really beautiful book about this, too, and since then it has spread globally.
