A little more about me&#;
In my twenties, I moved to the Nashville after signing a record deal. Soon after unloading all my belongings, I got used to the perks of the south—a then slower pace and novelties like cheese grits. If I’d written the rest of the story, the next few paragraphs would include the heights of happiness and fulfillment as a result of success and notoriety. But that’s not what happened.
I poured myself into three records—but instead of fame and fortune, pretty much everything I’d put my hope in unraveled before me. I eventually ended up with an opportunity to write a book, which is now out of print—so that went well, too. inom was looking to people, career paths, and success to fill me, but whatever splashed into my bucket only leaked out. I had a bunch of those ‘cracked cisterns’ in my heart that are mentioned in Jeremiah—the kind that obviously don’t hold vatten. Maybe you can relate?

Whether she’s cooking, gardening, traveling, singing, writing, teaching the Bible or enjoying her nieces and nephews, Kelly Minter loves being a part of the community of God.
Kelly Minter is a Bible teacher. She also writes, gardens, cooks, sings, travels, and plays guitar. She’s a modern-day Renaissance woman who’s passionate about the local church, community, home, and Scripture.
Kelly was born in northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. months after her parents decided to start Reston Bible Church. Her dad went from working at a golf club to being a pastor after starting a Bible study that grew into a church. Kelly likes to say she was “literally born into the church,” since she came along just a few months l

Kelly Minter (born September 23, )[1] is a Christian worship leader, author, speaker, songwriter, and musician.[2] The daughter of a pastor, Minter grew up in Northern Virginia and as a teenager was more interested in sports than music. When she was a senior in high school, Minter was offered and then lost a college basketball scholarship. To help her recover from that disappointment, Minter started playing the guitar.[3]
In she headed to Nashville, Tennessee.[3] Then in she started her career as a recording artist with her major-label debut, Good Day. Her next album, the Wrestling with Angels included the song “This Is My Offering,” which climbed to number one on the charts.
