    Scott was born in Burnley, Lancashire into a footballing family with strong links to Burnley. His father, grandfather, uncle and younger brother have all played for the club.[2][3] He attended St Theodore's RC High School.[4]

    Christopher Michael Scott (born 3 May 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League (AFL) best known for being a dual premiership player with the Brisbane Lions and a dual premiership coach at Geelong in 2011 and 2022.

    He has been the senior coach of Geelong since 2011.

    Scott along with his twin brother Brad was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia to parents Colin and Lynne. He attended St Kevin’s College.[1] Both were also proficient in cricket with Chris in year 11 playing in an APS premiership with St Kevin’s.[1] His St Kevin’s school fees were aided by Legacy, due to the circumstances of his fathers death when he was eight years old.[2]
