How it All Began
In Bay Area, California, Paige was born on September 17, 1987. Her father was a doctor and her mother an interior designer—her first impression of the design world. She would later go on to double major in pre-med and apparel design at Cornell University but pursued fashion designing in the end.

Behind the Sparkle and Shine with Hayley Paige
When deciding what career to pursue, many choose to go down the more conventional path rather than a more uncertain one. This was not the case for Hayley Paige Gutman, whose love of fashion and design propelled her to work as bridal couture designer at JLM Couture for the past decade. However, like any path less traveled, there may be some bumps along the way. On Dec. 17, 2020, Gutman resigned as a designer from JLM Couture after the fashion house sued her over the usage of her social media accounts.
Growing up in the Bay Area of California, Gutman always had an infatuation for the glittery things in life. Her grandmother taught her how to sew at a young age, which led Gutman to begin making her own clothing and even her own prom dress.

The designer behind her famous namesake label, Hayley Paige, as well as Blush by Hayley Paige, Hayley Paige’s romantic and whimsical aesthetic has seen her early career in mode and bridal go from strength to strength.
JLM Couture was so impressed with her obvious talent that they funded the launch of her namesake label in 2011, naming her head designer at the tender age of 25.
Ever since, Hayley Paige gowns have featured in elite bridal publications such as Brides, The Knot, and Martha Stewart Weddings, as well as popular television programs such as The Today Show, Good Morning America, E! News and TLC’s säga Yes To The Dress.
