Gary Spatz was born in New York and raised in New York and Miami then moved to Washington, DC to attend American University before making the move to Los Angeles.
In LA, Spatz continued his study of acting with Paul Sills. He was a company member (1978- 1985) of the respected American Theater Arts in Hollywood where he continued training, performing and eventually teaching. For the fifteen years after that, he was a teacher at The Young Actors Space.
For sju seasons, Spatz served as the on-set acting coach for "Roseanne". He went on to work with Jonathan Lipnicki on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show", with Tia & Tamara Mowry on "Sister, Sister" and later, with Tia and Tamara's younger brother, Tahj, when he got the starring role on the WB series "The Smart Guy". Human milk for the premature infant
Synopsis
Premature infants are a heterogeneous group with widely differing needs for nutrition and immune protection with risk of growth failure, developmental delays, necrotizing enterocolitis, and late-onset sepsis increasing with decreasing gestational age and birth weight. Human milk from women delivering prematurely has more protein and higher levels of many bioactive molecules compared to milk from women delivering at term. Human milk must be fortified for small premature infants to achieve adequate growth. Mother’s own milk improves growth and neurodevelopment and decreases the risk of necrotizing enterocolitis and late-onset sepsis and should therefore be the primary enteral diet of premature infants. Donor milk is a valuable resource for premature infants whose mothers are unable to provide an adequate supply of milk, but presents significant challenges including the need for pasteurization, nutritional and biochemical deficiencies and

Abstract
Dystonic storm is a frightening hyperkinetic movement disorder emergency. Marked, rapid exacerbation of dystonia requires prompt intervention and admission to the intensive care unit. Clinical features of dystonic storm include fever, tachycardia, tachypnea, hypertension, sweating and autonomic instability, often progressing to bulbar dysfunction with dysarthria, dysphagia and respiratory failure. It is critical to recognize early and differentiate dystonic storm from other hyperkinetic movement disorder emergencies. Dystonic storm usually occurs in patients with known dystonia, such as DYT1 dystonia, Wilson’s disease and dystonic cerebral palsy.
